What is a distribution panel?

With 70+ years of experience and in-house production in Denmark and Poland, we supply distribution panels for data centers, industry, OEMs and green energy. Each panel is built in your preferred modular or enclosure system, quality-checked and labeled, making operation, service and expansion simple throughout the panel's service life.

A distribution panel is the point in the electrical installation where power from the utility supply or a main distribution panel is split up and distributed onward to sub-distribution panels, circuits and loads. The panel brings together breakers, fuses, busbars and meters in a single controlled enclosure, so power is controlled, protected and monitored in one place.

Distribution panels and switchgear panels go hand in hand: the breakers ensure that individual circuits can be disconnected in the event of a fault or during service, while the distribution function ensures correct power flow to each circuit. At SystemTeknik, we build both as an integrated unit, so you get one complete solution instead of several separate units.

Standards and certifications

A distribution panel is only as safe as the standard it is built to. SystemTeknik works according to certified management systems and can supply panels that meet the relevant safety standards for your market – including CSA.

How large are the distribution panels SystemTeknik can produce?

We produce main distribution panels up to 6,300 A and can test components up to 6,300 A before delivery. We build everything from smaller distribution panels to large main distribution panels in your preferred modular or enclosure system.
