Aalborg Dynamotor 1963

From Aalborg Dynamotor to SystemTeknik

Since the company "Aalborg Dynamomotor A/S", which later became SystemTeknik, started in 1953, we have developed, produced and serviced electrical panels and automation systems for customers in several different industries and in several parts of the world. When you work with SystemTeknik, your project will be covered by a strong team of engineers, technicians, electricians and project managers with many years of experience in the electrical industry. We don't just want to be a supplier, but to meet our customers as a partner to create the best result! Throughout all six decades, we have gathered, trained and developed specialists, so we can solve complex tasks in-house and guarantee quality solutions for your business - in both one-off and series production.

Our history

The timeline shows the highlights of SystemTeknik's long history

1953

Aalborg Dynamotor

The company was founded by managing director Børge Pedersen back in 1953 under the name ’Aalborg Dynamotor’. At that time, the company consisted of an electromechanical workshop offering repair of electric motors and electrical components.

1963

New owner

Børge's son, Henning Sølver Pedersen, joined the family business in 1963 and was managing director and co-owner of Aalborg Dynamotor until 1992.

1992

New name

Aalborg Dynamotor becomes Berendsen System Teknik, which, under the leadership of Søren Wirenfeldt Rasmussen, gains larger industrial customers and now manufactures distribution and control panels.

2000

Final name change

The company evolves, and Berendsen Group wants to return to its core competencies, so with electrical panel production under its belt, the company changes its name to SystemTeknik in September 2000.

2002

Acquisition of Cubic Switchgear

Acquisition of Cubic's switchgear system, which has led to a long collaboration with Cubic Modular System.

2010

Production in Poland

SystemTeknik expands with a department in Szczecin, Poland, which started with 12 employees. The Szczecin department now has production, design, project management and administration, complementing the departments in Denmark.

2021

SystemTeknik of 2021

After a bankruptcy petition, SystemTeknik gets new owners in 2021 in the form of Nordjysk Invest, which takes over the company in collaboration with Ole Madsen, who joins as SystemTeknik's new CEO in February 2022.

2023

UL-certified

As part of SystemTeknik's corporate strategy, in 2023 we were certified to the UL standards UL891 and UL508A, enabling us to deliver quality panels to the American and Canadian markets.

2024

AA credit rating

After hard work to turn things around, the company received an AA credit rating from Dun&Bradstreet in 2024. The following year, the AA rating was upgraded to an AAA credit rating

2025

A growing company

This year, we have carried out two strategic acquisitions. SystemTeknik acquired the electrical panel and automation department of the bankrupt Opmatic, forming SystemTeknik in Thy, as well as the majority of PL Control in Hadsund.
