Control panels are the heart of any installation – they control motors, pumps, conveyors and processes, and ultimately determine how reliably your installation runs. We build them with more than 70 years of experience in panel production, from conventional relay control to PLC-based solutions.

How we build your control panel

Whether you need a standardized control panel or a customer-specific solution, we engineer, build and document the panel to your requirements – with structured wiring, correct marking and full traceability. Our fixed workflow ensures that nothing falls through the cracks.

  1. Technical consulting and requirements specification

    We review your needs, application and any market requirements – e.g. UL for the USA and Canada.

    You get a dedicated project manager and design lead from the very first meeting.

  2. Engineering and design

    We draw the electrical diagrams, select components and document the layout in SEE Electrical, EPLAN or PC Schematic.

    You first approve the concept sketches and then the final design. Only when the design is locked do we go into production.

  3. Production

    The panel is built in Denmark or Poland with structured wiring, correct wire colors and clear marking.

  4. Testing and quality control

    Components and functions are tested – we have test capacity up to 6,300 A.

    Any open points are closed before the panel ships.

  5. Delivery and commissioning

    The panel is delivered with complete documentation – ready for installation and start-up.

    It is wrapped in plastic with moisture-absorbing bags on wooden pallets, and our own technicians can handle installation and commissioning.

  6. Service

    Inspection, testing and replacement throughout the lifetime of the panel – with advance notice before components are discontinued.

Conventional or programmable control

We build both conventional and PLC-based control panels – standardized or fully customized. In a conventional control panel, control is handled by relay technology that executes the control sequences.

In a PLC-based control panel, the PLC is the brain of the installation. For PLC-based control panels, we offer PLC programming through our specialized partner and handle the coordination – so you get panel and control as one complete solution.

Programming follows IEC 61131-3 in Ladder (LAD), Structured Text (ST/SCL), Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Sequential Function Chart (SFC) – so the control is consistent, maintainable and easy to hand over.

What is the difference between a control panel and a distribution panel?

A control panel controls and monitors installations or machines – e.g. motors, pumps and processes – while a distribution panel distributes power. We build both; see our distribution panels.

Can you build control panels for sale in the USA and Canada?

Yes. We can certify control panels to UL 508A, the standard for industrial control panels in the North American market. Note that UL panels require UL-certified cables. Read more about UL panels.

Do you build both conventional and programmable control panels?

Yes, we deliver both conventional relay-based and PLC-based control panels. PLC programming – to IEC 61131-3 in Ladder, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram and SFC – is delivered through our specialized partner, while we handle the coordination. We work with Siemens, Allen Bradley, OMRON, Mitsubishi and ABB.

What test capacity do you have?

We have test capacity for component testing up to 6,300 A, and we test both components and functions as part of quality control before the panel is delivered.

Do you deliver control panels throughout Denmark?

Yes. We have production in Nørresundby, Thy and Hadsund and deliver control panels to companies throughout the country – from Aalborg and North Jutland to Hedensted, Zealand and the rest of Denmark – as well as for export.

Do you offer service and maintenance on control panels?

Yes. Our certified technicians carry out inspection, testing and replacement, and with a service agreement you get fewer breakdowns, notice when components are discontinued, and component replacement without waiting time. See planned service and maintenance.
